“ A very nice and cozy family style Italian Restaurant in the east end of Lock Haven serving delicious Italian and American dishes. The Village Tavern is a great place to dine when craving amazing homemade Italian cuisine. The Braciole was outstanding as was the Tour of Italy. They even made our daughter a special dish of their homemade ravioli in Alfredo sauce. The desserts were delicious as well. The service was fast and friendly and our meals were out super fast even with a packed house. I would recommend reservations over the weekend for sure! ”

Be aware that they may get busy during the peak hours over weekends. The menu offering contains a wide range of classic Italian dishes. Portions were large, and pricing is reasonable. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. They do offer private party catering inhouse. So if you have a special event or celebration, this place could be a good option.
